John Powers and I leave NYC for our new home in Jacksonville on Saturday morning. We are very excited about the opportunity to start a family in a beautiful, warm, family-friendly, life-first-work-second city. Im also terrified about how well I will adjust to the slower pace, to not having our amazing family (and cherished friends I call family) within driving distance, to a totally different culture, to not working 10+ hour days and to not seeing my awesome coworkers every day. I want to do it all perfectly and never be sad or doubtful. Since thats not possible, Im just going to do my best, and know that that is enough.
