John Starkey conceived of his show “Voices and Visions” as - TopicsExpress

John Starkey conceived of his show “Voices and Visions” as music loosely connected with climate change, but found himself (and the show) more oriented to the topic of “Capitalism and Its Effects”. So, to open today’s show at 6, expect to hear music from Tim OBrien, Willie Nelson, Boz Scaggs, Robbie Robertson, Sherrie Austin, and a host of others. At about 7, Abraham Entin will join John and discuss his new song “Levers of Power” and they’ll discuss certain political and social issues that face us today. At the height of the Vietnam War, Abraham walked away from Yale Law School and the automatic student deferment (and economic security) that went with it. He calls it the best decision of his life aside from his marriage. Hes been a longtime student of @Rudolf Steiner so they’ll also touch on Bio-Dynamic Farming, Steiners ideas about social transformation, and Abrahams involvement in social change work, his founding Move to Amend in the county, and corporate vs. human rights. Join them today from 6-8pm PST on “Voices and Vision”. You can join the discussion by calling in at 707-874-1073.
