John is down to only one IV and his main line in his neck - all other tubes, etc are gone. We are waiting for a bed to open up in the Transplant Unit and that should happen at any time... Mean while we are still in ICU and John is driving the nurses crazy. They arent use to such an active patient that thinks he should not only be eating steak but also running up and down the hallways. So far his liver is working great, Ultrasound showed great blood flow, other blood work has been good. Still watching his sugar levels, which is normal post transplant and his kidney functions, which have been good but they just want to catch a problem before it becomes one.
