John shared..Thought it was time for this again. I see a lot of articles and accolades given to amputees who participate in triathlons, and other such events. Dont get me wrong, these are amazing people who do amazing things. They inspire others to step up and realize that even with limb loss/ difference, its not the end. This post is for the everyday amputee, the try athlete. The competition is life. You know who you are. You compete in the 40 hour work week to provide for your family. You amaze your friends and family in the attitude competition. You step up big time when it comes to the questions and needs of other amputees. You are on the front line of the amputee team that allows the world to know that limb loss, even though it is not easy, can be attacked head on. With each painful step you conquer new goals. None of you need sit on the sideline. You are all amazing, inspirational, awesome, spectacular, astounding, astonishing, confounding, breathtaking, extraordinary, dazzling, fabulous, eye-opening, incredible, miraculous, mind-boggling, prodigious, overwhelming, remarkable, startling, staggering, stupendous, stunning, surprising, and wonderful people.
