John was still a bit sleepy this morning, so he snoozed through parts of PT and his TLS session with Kevin. Toward the end of the end of TLS, Kevin decided to give him a break from his exercises and asked him if he would like to watch tv; he got a big yes and then when he turned it on John gave him a big smile! He was more awake during speech, and you can see in this video: youtube/watch?v=6i-IdDOTImc he did a good job on following commands. Joe and Marie came to visit him in the afternoon but he got sleepy again, and was pretty drowsy all evening. Of course now he is suddenly wide awake again. I hope the getting ready for bed routine relaxes him so he can get out of this awake at night asleep during the day cycle that hes getting into. Today I am thankful for my house. It definitely has its quirks, but from the first time I walked into it it felt like home, and I am just so grateful that we have this place where John can be comfortable and we can all be together. I am also so very grateful for the prayers and support that keep John surrounded by love. God bless you.
