Johnnos death hit me pretty hard last night. I realized its not - TopicsExpress

Johnnos death hit me pretty hard last night. I realized its not just my feelings about the guy that upsets me, but the fact that this town lost something special with his passing. I have come to the conclusion this town, Springfield, doesnt appreciate its creative community at all. The city doesnt give a crap about people who remain local and do so much cool stuff. Ill leave it there, out of respect for Johnno. But, this city lost something special with him passing. He was such a creative guy, always experimenting with visual story telling and pushing himself. I have known a couple people in the regional filmmaking world who messed him over, and you know, I never saw him say anything bad about them, or anyone. When Johnno was around me, he never ever wasted time being negative. And we all lost something special with him passing. I was going through my Johnno art folder, stuff I have done with him, and saw the folder for Brothers Keeper, an animated film project he was doing that I did all the art for. This is a movie of his that will now never see the light of day, which is extremely depressing, because I think it was going to be his best movie yet, and I put a lot of sweat and blood into the art, creating the backgrounds, and the foreground animation art...it would have been very cool seeing it completed. For Johnno, I am posting one of the drawings here.
