Johnny Society is one of my favorite bands, Kenny Siegal is one of my favorite songwriters..Chris Rael , Kenny and Brian Geltner one of my favorite drummers were The Hand..a powerhouse trio that morphed into the power trio Johnny Society with Chris on bass and later and now Gwen Snyder Siegal a talented singer songwriter in her own right. This track is one of my very, very favorites..NOTHING beats hearing it live with Kennys amazing musicianship , vocal and Chriss soaring, industrial strength harmonies and Gwen and Brian...and Ed Pastorini on piano.....but listen and you will get the experience.For me this song has always been a sonic version of Peter Greenaways great film The Cook, the Thief, His Wife & Her Lover is a 1989 British-French romantic black comedy crime drama.
