Johnnys gone publically postal on me Lol This is for family, friends and mainly Bauxite citizens. I feel a moral obligation to set the record straight. I can honestly say besides working on council with Johnny it has been an honor and privilege to serve Bauxite. Im very proud of her and I have some pretty cool ideas for its future, if given the opportunity to serve bauxite again. If Johnny will stop vetoing and fighting council all the way on every single thing, we could move forward. Johnny said that there were people that wanted to know why I was drawing a 175.00 check and they didnt feel like i was living at my home. Trust me, 175.00 is not much for what we do. I spend sometimes hours in the afternoon or stay up late or weekends listening or talking to citizens, if my car is not home try town. If you need me, call me, I prefer text but either is fine. Thats what Im there for. I am a public servant to speak up for the citizens of Bauxite. I have broken no laws. The law states that a person can have as many residences but only one primary. I had some trouble with my hot water heater some time back and I am renovating my house. As most know, I am a single mom with 3 jobs so good luck trying to keep up with me. One thing I have always done is make time for anybody that needed me. Johnny doesnt return phone calls or emails. At least he has not kept me in the loop of things since the first time we overturned him. One thing I have learned about Johnny ...... You cannot agree to disagree with him. I can say this ....... At least he has given Debbi Purifoy a break dragging her thru the paper. If nothing else he is giving the bauxite citizens a break. Also, I didnt appreciate Johnny doing live interview in front of my house knowing good and well when he recruited me I was in a safe haven. He knew this. So thank you very much for splashing my address in every way possible. What a leader. If my meter hasnt worked for however long he said, he should have addressed it before now. I have requested new meter but no reply. Our sewer-water-street-dog catcher guy ... Gary beck got fired after talking with me. I followed him out to the city truck and observed... Get this: no break lights, no blinkers, no inside door handle, no gear shift, no ac., no heat, safety belt didnt work properly, oh and most of seat was eaten probably by a dog he had to catch...... Ha ha I hope poor Gary didnt get that Hungary. Seriously he shifted gears by reaching up in gear column. Concerned for his safety and whom ever he encountered on the road I ask Johnny for safety inspection on this vehicle. He said I was out of line and no. This has to be a new low, even for x- used car salesman...... I know he wouldnt drive it or put any of his family in it. So I asked saline county to do inspection. What I got in return is a nasty email from Johnny asking me if I was happy. That the truck was in the shop. And it was going to be over 1,000.00 to fix. Then he threatened Gary . Gary wanted to call sheriff but mayor wouldnt let Christy call the law. Johnny lost control of situation and got mad and fired poor Gary. He was a hard worker. We need him back. He was honest and did a good job. He was dependable. When he fired Gary ....... He didnt have a back up plan. Any work that has been done since he left has to be by lisc. contractor. We have a guy that was working part time before but Johnny has put our town in a bind seriously. I quit looking at my bills sometime back. I got tired of all of his negative nancy comments. I was sick of him belittling the town I love. This is where my grand parents lived. Its where Im raising my son. Bottom line Id beat him to the punch and pay my bill in cash before theyd ever get mailed out. When it came thru, Id laugh to myself thinking I dont have to listen to his bull as I tossed it in the trash. Now we get post cards and thats fine but Ive always gone in early and paid. I appreciate the texts the calls and concerns. Im good. Better men have tried to intimidate or manipulate me and couldnt . All I have had from the beginning was pure intentions to make bauxite better. God bless, Mona Struble
