Johnson Eyroor is a well-known hypnotherapist of Kerala: For more than quarter of a century, he has been practicing hypnotherapy; has saved many mentally retarded patients from their maladies. I first met him during late 1960s at the residence of Joseph Edamaruku in Kottayam during one of my visits to the place on my way to home from Trivandrum. That was a casual meet. Our friendship became strong during 1975-76 when Johnson accompanied the team of Divine Miracle Exposure Campaign and assisted me on stages for my Hypnorema programs across Kerala. Recently I got a copy of his biography published by DC Books Kottayam. The book not only explains his experiences; it portrays historical and cultural prejudices of a set of people across villages and towns in the State.
