Join #JERS on Ferry St. between Barton and Herkimer at 11:00am this morning, lets make history today #Buffalo! About the Event Hands Across Buffalo is a city-wide event that will bring together community members across our region in a simple demonstration of unity and the wealth of our diversity. The Hands Across Buffalo event will link 7,000 people, hand-in-hand, all along East and West Ferry Street. As Ferry Street crosses many of Buffalos diverse communities, exhibiting many of Buffalos assets and challenges, our linked hands will show how Buffalo stands together for a more united and vibrantly diverse city as we look forward toward what lies ahead. This event will bring together business and community leaders, service and non-profit organizations, public and private institutions and residents from across the region. After forming a continuous, human chain across the city for 15 minutes, participants will be able to attend a range of community events and workshops across the city, allowing participants to find ways to continue to support this mission in the future. handsacrossbuffalo.org/
