Join MARTA Rail Operator, Warren Myles, as he takes us on a tour through, nearby, and to popular destinations via MARTA bus routes that serve these two stations. Both Indian Creek and Kensington stations were opened in 1993, and serve the east end of the Blue rail line. Indian Creek features a large daily parking lot, an AT&T employee parking lot, the East Precinct for MARTA Police, and numerous bus routes. The popular Mall at Stonecrest can be reached via two bus routes. Indian Creek can be reached from two local entrances, as well as a northbound entrance on 285. Kensington Station sits just inside the 285 perimeter ring road at Memorial Drive. Similar to Indian Creek, this station also has a large daily parking lot, but Kensington also provides long-term overnight parking if desired. Surrounding the station are many businesses, most of them being the DeKalb county government. Kensington also serves many bus routes that reach out to neighborhoods to the north and south. One of the popular destinations from Kensington is Stone Mountain Village, and from there, Stone Mountain Park. We hope you enjoy the tour!
