Join My Group MindOfVizo For More Stories... :) 6. THE DARK WOODS The two sisters walked side by side, holding hands as they walked through the woods. The Sun shone down on them, leaving their silky smoothly combed hair glistening in the Suns rays, which framed their elongated chiselled marble-like smooth and fair faces. They stepped on the freshly fallen snow, which was starting to melt due to the ascension of the Sun on the eastern sky. It was a dreary and sometimes hazardous job, but a necessary one, nonetheless; as they had to find herbs to cure their ailing father. The older of the two sisters, Vezolü, took the lead as she was more matured and had more experience in the way around the jungle. Her brown eyes, bestowed to her by the Maker, gleamed in the morning Sun like a rare gem, as she searched through her way through the paths of the jungle. Her younger sister, Müzilü, who had the same tall, slim and robust quality of her older sister, safe her eyes; trailed behind, as she had almost no experience going to the jungle. The two figures walked through the jungle nimbly like deer, with limber movements, stopping and looking around for fleeting moments for any signs of herbs around, and collecting them in their own cloth pouch. They continued on and finally came to a place where the path lead to two ways, and so they parted ways; Vezolü taking the more rugged terrain as she had more experience, while the option of the plainer route was left for the younger Müzilü, who was hesitant at first but finally agreed. They planned to meet at the end of the two diverged roads which would eventually meet at a point in the jungle. Vezolü went her own way, while Müzilü followed the path she was handed to follow. Müzilü collected herbs of all kinds, and saw many new animals and birds which was a cause of distraction, and in her fascination of the new place she was venturing into, seemed to lose track of the time. It was nearly evening when she had her cloth pouch filled, and came to the end of the road. She saw her elder sister with flowers adorning her already beautiful hair, and followed behind her. Müzilü followed Vezolü and kept on walking deeper into the woods. They sang songs with such beautiful harmony that would put the birds to shame; as they trudged on to their way home. They kept on walking and they reached an area filled with foggy mist, and Müzilü started to feel like they were in an unfamiliar territory; and that they were lost. But Vezolü smiled at her and beckoned her to keep on walking, holding her hand through the misty fog. They kept on walking hand in hand and then suddenly Müzilü heard a voice calling out her name, and she abruptly stopped walking. She looked to her side; searching for the source of the voice. The mist cleared. It was her sister, Vezolü calling out to her from below where she stood at quite a far distance. And then she looked around her and her gaze was met by a steep cliff plunging down a deaths distances fall. And the place where hands held her hands was now replaced by empty space.
