And with wages not keeping up, many families, especially those with children, are really feeling a pinch... We are seeing more and more families that are either just one parent who works, or where both parents work. The house they are working increases, which takes away from the time they can spend at home preparing meals, spending time with their children ect. It really is the children that are paying the price for this. Fewer and fewer families eat mostly homemade meals. Buy the time parents get home, they are tired, and there is still cleaning and laundry that needs doing... who has time to invest an hour or more into a single meal... Children are eating more and more pre-made food that is more expensive, less filling, and has almost NO nutritional value... This needs to change... ~Jo~
