I could do with so more views (and perhaps back-up?), there I post on John Pilger to counter the unacceptable defence of pro jihadist and other Islamist views there, from particularly nasty anti-Israel, pro Hamas and linked terrorist group supporters, whose main defence seems to be ad hominem personal insults, particularly accusing me of being in the pay of Zionists / Israel! These people comprise both (fundamentalist?) Arabs and Brit apologists, who appear to have hijacked this group and are using it as a vehicle to promote their hate filled, uncompromising, views. Counter to the investigative balance of journalist John Pilger, after whom the group is named. As usual, with such folk, those who, like me, put forward polite and reasoned counter views are themselves recipients of personalised hate invective. Readers of my posts and comments elsewhere will know that I dont support or excuse Israels or the incompetent post 2003 Wests actions in Iraq - but DO point out that Hamas and other extremist jihadi terrorist groups indiscriminate attacks are every bit as blameworthy for all the death and destruction we have seen over a number of years. In fact, in many cases, it is perfectly clear those terrorist groups are the actual instigators, particularly in extra-sectarian and intra-sectarian violence, Muslim against Muslim, mainly Sunni v Shia. I cannot believe how car bomb, innocent Muslim, and other deaths and injuries, and destruction, are constantly being blamed entirely on the West, or Israel. It defies logic and common sense! But, sadly, so typical of many Muslims and their blinded Western supporters attitudes. Eye for an eye, loss of face, revenge, are part of the extreme elements of both Islam and Judaism, in an ever-escalating and deepening malestrom. So, having set out my feelings; I put out this request for others to join me on the John Pilger group and our discussions on events in the Middle East. Thanks.
