Join me tonight at The Green Drake in Millheim! This Friday evening we welcome watercolor artist Thom Glace of Mechanicsburg and his beautifully detailed watercolors of trout and other freshwater fish as well stunning closeups of dragonflies. I will provide music starting at 7:00, followed by an artists talk at around 8:15. Wine and refreshments as always. Come on join us! Here is some more about Thom and his work. Thom Glace specializing in Nature Studies in transparent watercolor. His favorite subjects are Trout, Salmon, Freshwater & Saltwater Game Fish. His other specalty is Dragonfly Studies. He also enjoys an occasional Landscape. Subjects for both the watercolor paintings and the photographs are influenced by Thoms travels and moves throughout the world. He and his wife, Mary, resided in New England, Central PA, North Carolina, the Caribbean and The Netherlands, & traveled to over fifty countries in the Americas, Europe and Asia. Since his early retirement due to a heart condition, Thom has been able to pursue his love of painting full time. After all their travels and moves Thom and Mary, have settled down in Mechanicsburg, PA. Thom Glace has participated in Art Shows in New England, Texas, Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia, New York City & Pennsylvania and has bein featured in Regional and National Magazines. He was the Featured artist at the 2014 Virginia Fly Fishing Festival.
