Join the Walk for Respect this Sunday at Lakemba. In response to proposals amending Section 18C Racial Discrimination Act, Federal Member for Watson, Tony Burke, is organising a “Walk For Respect” through the streets of Lakemba in a show of unity against racism and bigotry. The entire community should stand up against the proposed changes and participate in this walk to show solidarity. When: Sunday, 25 May 2014 Where: Assembling at the corner of Gillies and Haldon Streets and finishing at Parry Park in Lakemba Time: 11:30am for a 12:00 start followed by a family BBQ
