New York native Larry Clyman enjoyed a strong foothold in the Chicago music scene for almost fifteen years, playing the hottest clubs and the largest festivals. After graduating from Indiana University with a degree in Folklore and Jazz Studies, Larry migrated West to study and teach at the prestigious Musicians Institute in Hollywood. Years later Larry headed back to the mid-west where he toured and recorded with Hall-of-Fame Chicago blues legend Lonnie Brooks, and also his own Americana band Big Shoulders (on Rounder Records.) He has shared the stage with B.B.
