Join us Tuesday Evening, January 27th, 2015 for The Cove School’s Hour of Code Night The Cove School kids and parents are warmly invited to “Hour of Code Night,” a delightful introduction to coding and computer science for kids K-5 AND their parents! Join us that evening for your choice of three different experiences, for parents & kids learning together! *Fun With Computers (grades K-2): Perfect for Kindergarten, first-, and second-grade digital explorers! For kids still learning reading and keyboard skills, this first programming experience includes fun coding and computer puzzles. *Hour of Code (grades 2-4): A delightful, self-paced introduction to computer programming for kids and parents together. No previous tech background required. *Intro to Scratch (grades 2-4, advanced): For more technically experienced kids and their parents, in this session youll start to learn Scratch, and create your first app in this wildly popular programming language from MIT. The Cove School’s Hour of Code Night will be held Tuesday, January 27th, from 6:00pm to 7:15pm. The program is free, but space is limited, so register now. You’ll be coding with your kids in no time!
