Join us for a Community Food-Justice Discussion & Dinner at Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Park (40th & Nicollet) Tuesday Sept. 24, 6-8 PM Together we will brainstorm ways that these three elements: *FOOD, JUSTICE, & COMMUNITY* can intersect at the Mosaic Garden & at Rev. Dr. ML King Jr. Park. *Keynote speaker.. LaDonna Redmond (Marketing Outreach & Education Coordinator for the Seward Co-op Friendship Site in Bryant Neighborhood) Event is Free & Everyone is Invited! Dinner provided by Seward Co-op & dessert from Butter Bakery Café with hands-on produce preparation by Jenny Breen, a local foods chef and public health nutritionist who works, teaches in a range of settings, using cooking & food literacy as a strategy for creating sustainable change in our food system.
