Join us for the October Skillshare as part of the DC Trainers Network. Peace Circles is a restorative justice model that has been used for dialogue and peacekeeping in a variety of settings, such as international conflicts, schools and prisons. Peace circles are based on indigenous wisdom and practices. The circle keeper holds a space that encourages authenticity, values all voices and connects shared values. The keeper asks coaching type questions and encourages increased awareness of ourselves and others. Join us for Part 2 - delving deeper into this practice. The DC Trainers’ Network monthly skillshare is a structured, interactive space where people can share skills and gain confidence in their training abilities and everybody is both a teacher and a learner. We strive to provide an inclusive practice space to experiment with different approaches for learning and teaching.
