Join us for the third annual Brookline Day celebration presented by Brookline Recreation and Brookline Bank. The event will be held on Sunday, Sept. 14, at Larz Anderson Park from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Bring your family and friends for a day full of activities, including free face painting, inflatables, touch a truck, pie-eating contests, a rock climbing wall and so much more. Listen to the sounds of three bands while you stroll by the vendor hall and meet some of the local Brookline businesses; more than 100 will be there. There will be giveaways and all kinds of great things for sale at the event as well. Once you’ve worked up an appetite, grab a bite to eat at one of the many options for food on hand, including local food trucks. Although there will be parking surrounding Larz, there will be bus shuttles running all over town, with convenient satellite parking available. Brookline Day kicks off in the morning with our Brookline Day 5K race and Children’s 1K mini race. This course will begin at the corner of Goddard Avenue and Avon Street and wind through South Brookline’s neighborhoods. The course is USTAF certified, and will be chip timed.
