A fundraising concert in support of Plan International’s “Because I Am a Girl Initiative” will be held August 16 at The Pourhouse in the Old Triangle, Charlottetown, from 7:30–10:00 pm ..... followed by a dance with the GRAEME HUNTER BAND 11 pm–2 am. Tickets for a HUGE night of music and fun for a great charity ONLY $15 Headlining the event is the music of Kim Campbell (Kim Campbell Music) with David Rashed and Cynthia MacLeod as well as other Island female performers like Kelley Mooney. Kim Campbell is a singer-songwriter from Lake Forest, California. She has worked as a high school teacher for at-risk kids for 20 years and raised three children as a divorced mother. She also sang the nightclub circuit for three years. Kim is now married to Charlottetown native Richard Campbell who encouraged her to pick up her music after years away from performing. Kim Campbell has just released her first CD Gotta Dance with David Rashed.
