Lets continue our call to end the violence and the hate, and to continue to advocate for human rights and equality for all. We hope for a day when there are no more lives lost. We dedicate this #TransDayofRemembrance to Sabi Beriani, among too many others. Just a week ago, Sabi was murdered in Tbilisi, Georgia. Sabi was the first trans* person to publicly come out, having appeared on national TV speaking about her life and the human rights violations that the trans* community is facing in Georgia. Sabis brutal murder - the first known case of a trans* woman murdered in Georgia - is not only a murder of a transgender person, but also of a brave activist and human rights defender. Stand with us in solidarity with the global trans* community - today and everyday.
