Join us tomorrow, Sunday at 2pm at Community Church for a Walkathon to celebrate funding for Universal Prek and to call attention to Jackson Heights as a high need area. Young families continue to move into the neighborhood and our schools need to be ready. Come at 1:30 to Community Church to organize, sign a petition and kids get a gift for walking. The Walkathon at 2pm will go to 37th Road and 73rd Street to Diversity Plaza. Favorite characters, a magician and a band will entertain at the plaza. Its all free except for food trucks parked on Broadway. We are expecting an assortment :) If you can add a $10 scholarship gift for 82nd Street Academics Summer School.
