Beyond building an app that customers need and want, developers need to think about the key areas of marketing before, during, and after the app is created. This way, following fundamental steps of marketing, app developers will increase exposure for their app, increase downloads and usage, deliver the right message, build a following, and retain customers. Understanding, planning, and implementing a marketing process will propel developers beyond a casual launch and instead help them reach and engage a much larger, targeted audience.
