Joining in the Face Book game of revealing a number of things that people may not know about me. My number was provided by Connie Zimmer is 11 so here we go. If you like my post Ill be happy to send you a random number. 1) I was born Harry Michael Godwin. Seems my oldest brother was not wild about Harry and asked our parents to give me a new name. Easy way out my parents told my brothers to call me Mike. 2) Born, raised and lived in Washington State except for my 21 year stint in the U.S. Navy. 3) Have a great deal of pride in the fact that I (we) have many long lasting friendships. 4) My main hobby is not a secret as I really enjoy Mustangs of all years. Less known is my tinkering with home built alarm systems. 5) Certified Range Master and enjoy being a volunteer instructor for a Home and Gun Safety Course. 6) Speak two other languages besides my native tongue of English. 7) Once owned a special ordered 1970, Mercury Cyclone with a 428 Super Cobra Jet. Car was ordered through the Ford Sales promotional program and picked up at Bill Gill Lincoln Mercury in Tacoma, Washington. Recently discovered that the car was one of only three produced. Ouch! 8) Two time cancer survivor so I fully support any cause that funds Cancer Research. 9) Very proud of each of my four Grandchildren. As individuals they have accomplished so much. 10) Enjoy helping others whenever I can. 11) Still enjoy a good debate with an opponent that has put in some time doing research from legitimate sources.
