Jon and I want to thank you all for your prayers and support today. We could not have asked for any better news. We ask a lot of our prayer warriors and tonight we ask you once again to help us lift up a family to pour heavenly Fathe. A few days ago Mary Grier contacted me via Facebook. She had been following our journey for a while. Her story is this.... Brad & Mary Grier received the best news in the world in June - that they were expecting identical twin boys! On August 28, Mary and the twins received a rare, life-threatening diagnosis of twin-twin transfusion syndrome. The next day, they traveled from their home in Huntsville to the Cincinnati Fetal Center where Mary underwent fetal laser surgery to treat this disease. Tragically, Twin B passed away within 24 hours of the surgery. After a week in Cincinnati, Mary was released home on strict bedrest. Baby A has shown great improvement since surgery. However, on September 21, Marys water broke at 24 weeks. She is now stable at Huntsville Hospital where she will be staying on strict hospital bedrest until their baby boy is delivered. He will likely have a long NICU stay when he arrives. Please join me tonight and lift up Mary, her husband and her unborn 24 week old baby boy. We ask that the great physician keep this precious one in as long as possible. God help the steroids develop his lungs and the magnesium sulfate protect his brain. God I know how awful the mag sulfate is to a pregnant body, it is torture. But Mary, just like myself, is willing to go through any measures to keep her baby in as long as possible. Give her some rest tonight and peace that surpasses all understanding. Only you know the plans for us. God we trust those plans and we thank you for your blessings. Thank you for keeping Mary in your prayers. And please also remember to continue your prayers for our nicu friend Miss Molly James. She is doing well and is over 3 pounds now!
