Jon visits Mario at his Lemonade Stand - 7th June 2014 JON BON JOVI - 7th June 2014 - Surprise Visit To MARIO - A 9 Year Old Boy Battling Brain Tumors. NOT GIVING UP HOPE IN SOMETHING YOU BELIEVE IN !!! Mario never did give up on Jon Bon Jovi and Jon made his wish come true. Mario is a 9 year old boy who has been battling inoperable brain tumors since December of 2007 . Despite all the struggles and hardship of surgeries and intensive chemo , he still always manages to smile . His heart is so BIG . He is always thinking of others . He is known as the Mayor of Childrens Hospital because when he walks off that 4th floor of Oncology , he is making everyone smile . His mission is to carry on Alex Scotts legacy to raise money for childhood cancer . In 2011 Marios Lemonade Stand raised over $25,000 . This past June He was able to raise close to $50,000. We are blessed to have so much Love from our Family , Friends and community ! Mario has asked me if Jon Bon Jovi could come to his Lemonade Stand next June . I said it wasnt possible . His reply was WHY NOT !! If he could make a difference and raise so much money so he wouldnt loose anymore friends to this horrible disease , then why cant I try ! So Here it is . Lets hope this page goes around to thousands of people .. I need your help in doing this !!! Nothing is impossible if you try ! So I will do my best in making his happen for my son who is my HERO !!
