Jonah 1:5 Then the mariners were afraid, and cried every man unto his god, and cast forth the wares that were in the ship into the sea, to lighten it of them. Today people still call out to their gods when in trouble , it didnt do these sailors any good, it didnt help one little bit . The question will be when you stop serving these gods and turn to The Lord Jesus Christ . We may throw things out if our lifes but until we get to a place of repentance these other things in life will weight us down. Have a blessed day . Bro. Joey
