Jonas Lieberman 8 hrs. I recall when my family and I made aliyah to Israel. We docked at 5:30 AM on erev Rosh Hashanah 1970. I went with my parents, my four brothers and I, and my grandmother. We arrived in Israel with 42 pieces of luggage on the ship Anna Maria, a Greek liner used by the Jewish Agency. There was one thing that stands out so strongly in my mind. We were promised by the State of Israel and all authorities that within the borders of Israel we can take a walk at 3 AM in the morning, even if we were 12 years old, eight years old or 65 years old it did not make a difference. Once you were within the borders of Israel we were guaranteed to be safe from terrorism, from thieves from murderers from rapists from anybody, we were guaranteed to be safe. I dont have to explain that no longer holds true and that has not been true for many recent years as we have been attacked by adversaries and terrorists from every corner of Israel by people who want to eradicate the Jews from this world. And we Jews have been injured, maimed, disfigured, disabled and even G-d forbid killed by these terrorists on the street corners throughout Israel. Every one of us has an obligation to make sure that a six-year-old or an eight-year-old or a teenage girl or a grandmother can walk the streets once again in the land of Israel, in the land of the free, and in the land of the brave. Why, because we have the Israeli Defense Forces the IDF guaranteeing us a safe homeland to everyone who lives with in our borders. We all have an obligation to let the world know, NEVER AGAIN will there ever be a Holocaust, NEVER AGAIN will the State of Israel sit idly by when Jews are persecuted anywhere in the world. And we must stand up to those tyrants, bigots and Jew haters in France and in England and Germany and everywhere else we must rid the world of these anti-Semites. Because they are only bold when they have hundreds of their own marching together. Stand up to them one on one and catch them in an alleyway or walking by themselves and watch them pee in their pants! Once ISRAEL finishes with the Hamas they must continue their war to rid Europe of these Jew haters and bigots so that we never see them again in our lifetime and in our childrens lifetime and in our childrens childrens lifetime, AMEN!
