Jonathan Sharp, a third generation dairy farmer, has devoted his career to harvesting and producing superior quality milk. Jonathan’s grandfather founded Tewitt Hall Farm in 1943 in Worth Valley, UK. As the current operator, Jonathan has reached many milestones with his cattle throughout the farms years in operation. As a writer for the Rural Matters column in The Worth Valley Mag, Jonathan has written articles featuring his two 100 ton cows, known as Sally Babes and Rudolf Trifolium. The two cattle earned him a write up in the Holstein Journal in 2011 and increased awareness about himself and his farm. As an ASDA supplier to a grocer in Keighley, Jonathan works with his father to produce 1.1 million litres of milk by keeping his costs low. He says this is made possible by doing “the work of two men for less than minimum wage”, thus allowing the farm to remain in full operation. Thank you sincerely to Mr. Sharp for providing us with this information.
