Joni and I are praying today for positive change to result from the just-concluded “Heal the Racial Divide” summit in Dallas. Though previously scheduled commitments prevented me from attending in person, I have been there in spirit – leading prayer for the meeting earlier this week on my Word Network program, “120 Live With Rod Parsley,” and in services where I have ministered this week. The summit, led by my dear friends Bishop Harry Jackson and Bishop T.D. Jakes, is vital precisely because the Church holds the answer to the racial divisions the United States is experiencing. We can do nothing less and nothing other than to intercede for America until all forms of racism are relegated to our history books. Please join me in praying for the nation in this regard and for the Church to continue to play a leading role in confronting this great national challenge.
