Jools Holland and his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra with guest star ex Spice Girl Melanic C are topping the bill at the second Gibraltar Jazz Festival which has performances in the streets and at the Queen’s Cinema from 17th-19th October. The programme is as follows: Street jazz - The New Orleans Jump Band on Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 6:00pm at Ocean Village, Casemates, Piazza and the cathedral. Soul Mates on Saturday 19th at 12 noon in the Piazza. Thursday 17th - Queen’s cinema: George Posso Trio & Friends - 8pm. Elie Massias Band - 9.15pm. Juan Galiardo with Arturo Serra on vibraphone - 11:00pm. Friday 18th - Queen’s Cinema: Kirsty Almeida and The Troubadours - 9:00 pm. Dan Moretti Band - 11:00 pm. Saturday 19th October - Queen’s Cinema: Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra. The line-up includes Gilson Lavis, with special guest star Melanie C and guest vocalists Ruby Turner and Louise Marshall.
