Jornal Independente Monday 24 November 2014 PM Xanana: Police Will Shoot to Wound Those Writing Anti-Muslim Graffiti Prime Minister (PM) Kay Rala Xanana Gusmao has authorized the Timor-Leste National Police (PNTL) to should to grievously wound Timorese who write anti Muslim slogans or words insulting of national leaders publicly. The head of government asked the Suco Chiefs and the community to control their own neighborhoods so that graffiti does not appear on public walls and spaces. He also demand that parents and teachers teach properly the kids, so that they can become good citizens and know how to behave, otherwise they do not deserve to live, said PM Xanana. Whoever it is who has an itchy hand and tries to bring down our society, will be arrested, their arms will be twisted till broken, shot until broken to show the world that Timor-Leste does not allow anti, said PM Xanana at a press conference at the Saint Paul Hall, Tasi Tolu, Sunday 23 November. He said that the culture of tolerance is what is alive in Timor-Leste, and because of this the police will take action if anyone acts against this principle of tolerance.
