Jose Mourinho happy to put late Blues victory down to destiny JOSE MOURINHO loves this time of year. He has never lost a title race when his team has been top in February in any country. Mourinho has not been feeling much affection lately, and threw something of a strop after he suffered a backlash over the “specialist in failure” barb he aimed at Arsene Wenger. But he was smiling again after this one. Quite how Chelsea won it is anyone’s guess having been dominated for so long by Everton. “Destiny” Mourinho called it. Maybe he’s right, because until John Terry slid in to help Frank Lampard’s stoppage-time free kick over the line they never looked like emerging victorious. He was not about to take the credit though, despite winning in “Fergie time” with one of those goals that champions sometimes need in tough matches. “It is not about Sir Alex, it is not Mourinho,” he said. “The best teams do this more than the other teams, they are physically stronger they can bring more intensity to the last part of the game because on the bench you have other kinds of solutions. “It is difficult for smaller teams. The last minutes are where the best teams win points. It is not about the managers.” - [
