Jose Mourinho lauded by Swede Date: 7th September 2013 at 10:11 am Written by Brad Pinard | Comments (1) Paris St Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has praised Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho in his new autobiography, as reported by the Guardian. The notoriously outlandish forward also launched a scathing attack on former Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola. Ibrahimovic worked with Mourinho at Inter and claims that the Portuguese boss is a ‘leader of his army’ and that Guardiola was trying too hard to match him. The Swedish striker was linked with a summer switch to Chelsea and it appears the charismatic striker would be keen on a reunion with Mourinho. The arrival of Edinson Cavani in Paris during the summer could have taken the attention away from Ibrahimovic and his latest extracts from his autobiography shows that that isn’t such a good thing. “That guy says whatever he wants. I like him,” Ibrahimovic wrote. “He’s the leader of his army. But he cares, too. He would text me all the time at Inter, wondering how I was doing. He’s the exact opposite of Pep Guardiola. “If Mourinho lights up a room, Guardiola draws the curtains. I guessed that Guardiola was trying to match up to him. Mourinho would become a guy I was basically willing to die for.”
