Joseph Haydns Piano Trio No. 39 in G major Hob. XV/25 was written in 1795. It is perhaps Haydns most well-known piano trio and sometimes nicknamed the Gypsy or Gypsy Rondo trio because of its Rondo finale in Hungarian style. It consists of three movements: 1.Andante 2.Poco adagio, cantabile 3.Rondo a lOngarese: Presto The work was published by the English firm of Longman and Broderip, with the opus number (seldom used today) 73. All three of the Opus 73 trios are dedicated to Haydns friend Rebecca Schroeter. >>> youtube/watch?v=FNKPIo6TBKY
