Joseph Roca, Joseph Guerrero, Cayo Buay Belizeans living abroad, do not be discouraged by the writing of one dissatisfied Belizean, who writes from his personal convictions and feels very strongly about this, which is good. I prefer for someone to want to defend their views as strongly as possible, and if necessary try to convince others of the deeper negligible effects of opposing, if this is so. Embracing the diaspora back into the daily operational management of our country is not the most easy adaptive change one would want to implement. Many people hesitate when the myriads of opportunities arise to exercise leadership. We believe (BPF), that while leadership is perilous, good leadership, while perilous is an enterprise worthy of the cost. We need people from the different communities, organizations and societies from wherever they live and work, to take up the challenge within reach, rather than complain for the lack of leadership from higher up. Each day we are presented some form of leadership, how we respond to this is dependent of our commitment to the betterment of ones community, family, purpose in life as we believe that everyone have something unique to offer and we need to harness this to improve the lives of the masses. In that regard, we believe that the diaspora have a lot to inject into the daily lives of their brothers/sisters back in Belize, outside of the fact that they have a right to decide who will represent them, have a chance to present themselves as representatives for the governance of their country of birth. One of the reason the diaporans are not a welcome idea for the political gangs, are simply that these people cannot be bought for a few dollars more. They have seen better, they have made it in a society where political victimization is not a vibrant part of the business culture. They are then deemed as a threat to the status quo, they can rock the boat, they cannot be misled with a measly $50.00 or $100.00 on election day; or better yet, a ham and a few pounds of staples on Christmas Day! The Belize Peoples Front, have a far reaching visionary plan for the countrys future, and it entails an input from Belizeans, diasporans included. We are a party of tangible change and change we will bring, along with the many who are taking up the challenge of local leadership, in their communities, workplace, neighbourhoods and in the political think-tanks; we are on the move
