Joseph’s father could not give Joseph a blessing. In fact Jacob’s deceptive iniquity (grabber) visited Joseph’s head when his brothers sold him to slavery. God turned it for good, though brothers & father failed – yet thru much pain. You don’t have to claim a Joseph blessing if Abraham’s father blessing makes you a nation’s best, highest in a field. That is the blessing a father like Abraham gives. Thank God for Joseph blessing – when father & elder brothers fail. Thank God for Abraham’s blessing that runs thru many generations when fathers are faithful and sons linger & nurture in their shade.
