Josh Feuerstein apparently either never really talks to atheists, - TopicsExpress

Josh Feuerstein apparently either never really talks to atheists, never listens to atheists, or simply never addresses the arguments he actually hears from atheists. Im fairly certain that he lies when he says he talked to an atheist the other day who said there are no absolute truths. Im an atheist who talks to several other atheists, and Ive yet to hear anyone make the argument that there are no absolute truths. Of course, there are many things presented as absolute truths that are not, but of course there are absolute truths. The fact that Ive never heard any atheists say there are no absolute truths and the fact that it seems to be a favorite strawman argument among christian apologists simply points to him making this story up. The challenge itself demonstrates that hes much more concerned about getting amens from the choir to which he loudly preaches than he is about reaching atheists. If he actually tried to understand how to reach atheists, he would understand that practically no atheist claims to have proof or reason to believe with absolute certainty that there is no god. Its the complete lack of any compelling reason to take the proposition of the existence of any gods seriously that lead us to be fairly certain there is no god. Its pretty much the same reason people tend to believe there is no santa, no easter bunny, no elves, etc. If he wanted to reach atheists, he wouldnt waste time on a challenge to prove gods non-existence. https://youtube/watch?v=mTXZ1uPMTjI
