Josh and I have devoted an enormous amount of our time since the show finished trying to help where we can. The very one thing from the show that we took away that rocked us to our foundations was how lucky we are to have fit and healthy children, amazing healthy wifes and a family network not going through adversity through illness. We have tried to raise awareness of the Child Cancer Foundation, Ronald McDonald House and Starship Hospital, we have tried to help raise much needed funds from countless dinners and BBQs or little things like putting a smile on a young persons face who is battling odds way more than we can comprehend - even if that is with a bowl of ice cream and some chocolate sauce!! If you are as lucky as we are, spend the time this Christmas with the ones you love and who love you - family!! - Using some words from the late Angela Sunkel - what in life is truly important to you, how much time are you devoting to those things, who do you need to say I love you too more, when you let your daily stresses fall away - what really matters in life?? Life is short and time will be up before you know it - and are you making the most of your dreams and aspirations. Enjoy life, embrace it and be kind to others and yourself - at the end of the day people are what matter the most Thank-you to all our family, friends, sponsors and supporters who help us make little things turn into big smiles on the faces of so many brave people.
