【Joshi-Tabi (女子旅) - Girls’ Travel】 Behold Japan’s amazing traditional crafts! Traditional crafts such as textiles, ceramics, lacquer wares, and papers of all sorts gathered from all over Japan can be found at Japan Traditional Crafts Aoyama Square, an exhibition hall in Aoyama, Tokyo. With about 3,500 items within the hall, it functions as a museum and a shopping centre. This place has a permanent exhibition that showcases hundreds of items, mostly handmade using traditional techniques that date back at least 100 years as well as themed exhibitions that are done once every two weeks. On some days, you can even catch crafts-making demonstrations.
