Joshua, the man to follow Moses, had only been an assistant. He - TopicsExpress

Joshua, the man to follow Moses, had only been an assistant. He was a good soldier and absolutely loyal to Moses, but he did not possess a trace of Moses genius and stature. Yet God said to him, Go in and take possession of the land (Joshua 1:11). So he did - doing what Moses never did! Under him, Israel made the Promised Land their own. You or I may not be great people like Moses, but we can be like Joshua. We may not be giants like Goliath, but we can be like David. Apart from Moses, Paul and one or two others, most of the biblical characters who did great things for God were not great in themselves. God brought glory to himself by using useless people. It is doing the job that makes people great. Have a blessed day. Reinhard Bonnke
