Josiahs biological father was an evil King. After his death the little boy of eight years old inherited the throne but made some choices that developed his character and a great destiny. 1) He chose to seek and serve the God of his father King David. 2) He chose to embrace the grace and glory that manifested in King David. 3) He chose to live by the principles of King David. He made choices where he could. He could not choose his biological father but he chose his God and his spiritual father and mentor. He could not alter his physical DNA but he could embrace the Divine Nature of God. The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob who fathered King David would now father little Josiah. Josiah recognized that Davids success as a great king was due to his great relationship with God as His King. He read the many psalms of David as he openly worshipped, adored and served God. King David was King Josiahs hero and mentor. Jesus Christ named Himself: The Root and Offspring of David, Revelation 22:16. He also prayed that His grace be with Gods people: The grace of the Lord Jesus be with Gods people. Revelation 22:21. Today you can choose to embrace the grace and favor that manifested in King David. It is called the grace of CHAYIL and manifests in worship, wisdom, power, honor, favor, wealth and influence. May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Kingdom Declaration: I will walk in the manifested grace of CHAYIL, the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ.
