Journey To Heaven Update 1 Dear All Thank you all for support I am very Please to say that so far we have received 50 names for the Tribute Pages in less than 3 weeks. So we are half way there this includes The names so far Given to me and our Area Chair Person Vijay Sheth (London) Please pass your names and contact details with E -mail id so after Parushan we can be in touch with you for full details we need for the Tribute Pages . I am very confident that with your support during next two weeks of Parushan most of the pages will be allocated. Jai Jinendra From, Pradip Mehta and greetings from Jain Centre, Leicester Journey to Heaven a Jain Perspective We are in the process of producing a 200 page colourful booklet, written by Shree Jayeshbhai Shah and respected Shashikantbhai Padamshi Mehta. Journey To Heaven will be an Important guide for all Jains, providing a sensible and acceptable explanation of where we came from, where we are going, the nature of our immortal soul and its relation to our temporary body. This booklet will provide a simple and informative guidance to us and our children, in a Jain perspective, on what procedures need to be followed when a family member passes away. This will be written in English and Gujarati. The booklet will also contain devotional songs, messages from our tirthankaras, colourful Aangi photos and Inspirational stories and poems from Pradipbhai Mehtas collection. We would also like to include memory of loved ones who are not with us any more by publishing their photo , life achievements , poems and family members names as a everlasting tribute to them. Cost for publishing full colour page will be £200 and half page will be £125. All the money raised from this booklet will go towards our Disable Lift Project, whose estimated cost stands over £150k at present. We earnestly look forward to your support and sponsorship towards this good cause. We hope to make this booklet available to all Jain households, to form a guidance for our children and memorial tribute to our loved ones who have departed us.
