But the article also references candidate Bondi, as it should, since after the primary there will be a general and the focus of the primary is on the general election. I will be on the ballot in the general election. The inclusion of this FACT, even if just 4 or 5 words, would lend itself to more complete reporting and the credibility of the reporter. However, candidate Sharp is not just commenting on journalistic skill or style. What is at issue here is the purposeful top-down biased directive to exclude third party candidates from coverage so as to perpetuate the two-party system. This is not unique to the free press, our election laws are also purposefully constructed to exclude third parties - or what our state statutes refers to as minor parties, from full participation in the electoral process. This will end one day. As Judge Hinkle famously espoused this week, “liberty has come more slowly for some than for others.” We will not stop fighting until the leveling of the playing field between citizen candidates and career politicians is complete.
