Joya B. asked, I have 2 boys (4th and 6th grades). Both are about 1-2 years behind in math, thanks to NY State and Common Core. I am homeschooling them now, using Time4Learning. We do not use Time4Learning for math, because it moves too quickly. I have been just taking this first half of the year getting them up to speed, reviewing basic concepts, etc., and we are now ready to start a formal math program. I have narrowed it down to 2 programs: CTC Math or Teaching Textbooks. Anybody have a strong opinion on one or the other? I despise Common Core and I know these 2 programs are not Common Core.
