Jubilee Government Should Resign For Bungling War Against Islamic and Ethnic Terrorism. There is argument that internal security boss Ole Lenku, Inspector General of Police Mr. Kimaiyo and General Karangi of the army should resign for bungling the war against increasing Islamic, ethnic and clan terrorism. The three are guilty but they don’t bear highest responsibility for increase in terrorist attacks across the land. President Uhuru and Deputy President Ruto bear highest responsibility for errors of judgment in appointing the three to their current security and defense dockets and for their failures to stem rise of terrorism in the land. If Ole Lenku, Kimaiyo and Karangi are the only ones to go, there will be no guarantee that Uhuru and Ruto will not reappoint others like them to take their places. As American presidents Jimmy Carter and Richard Nixon bore highest responsibilities for failures of their administrations by resigning, President Uhuru and DP Ruto must also resign for failures to eradicate Islamic, ethnic and clan terrorism in the land. A president who puts watching motor racing before national security should resign.
