Jubilee Sermon 64-0308: 3.9.2014 The Token branham.org/20140309_TheToken Display content Brother Branham preached four sermons with the title, Token. The first was in Jeffersonville in September, 1963, and this was the last. It is the closing service of the five-day meetings in Dallas, before he traveled about 300 miles to Beaumont for another five days of meetings. In this service, Brother Branham uses the Scriptures of the death angel passing over Egypt during Moses’ time. All those who were under the Token of the blood were saved. He also plainly tells us about signs and how they relate to the Message of the hour. Here’s a little appetizer of the meal we are about to enjoy together: Notice, now watch how He prepared His people. How many knows that He never changes His ways? He never does. [Congregation says, Amen.--Ed.] Hes... now look through the Bible and see if He ever changed it. No, sir. How did He prepare the people? First, He sent a prophet with a sign, which was Moses. Is that right? [Congregation says, Amen. Ed.] And the sign had a message, a message to get ready, they were going out to the land that was promised. Then He had identification, of this prophet, that a Light was over the top of him. A Pillar of Fire followed this prophet, we know that, went through the wilderness with Moses. We realize that. And then He gave them a token for the assurance that they wouldnt have to be scared, all upset and nervous; where He said, When I see that token, Ill pass over you. Watch how He did now. He prepared first a sign, a messenger, identified message, identification of the messenger, and a token for the assurance that the way was paid. They are headed for the promised land. The same thing He has done today! What did He do? He sent us the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost is the Messenger, and the Scriptural identification of Himself identifies Him among us, the same yesterday, today, and forever. And the Token is the assurance. What are we scared about? Our fare is already paid and we are identified with our Sacrifice. He cant turn you down. He promised that. Were identified. Here are a few highlights from “The Token.” And, now, its a type of today, shown, as we are also facing another exodus. God bringing Israel out of Egypt, to the promised land, was a type of Christ bringing the Bride out of the church, to the promised Land. We are in another exodus. A token is a sign of a paid price, the token is. And, by the way, that hyssop was just common weeds. Hyssop means your faith. Somebody tries to have supernatural faith, thats the reason you miss your healing. Faith is just a common thing. You got faith to come to church. You got faith to walk out there. You got faith to start your car. You got faith to eat your dinner. Thats the way it is, just common faith. Now to apply the blood, was applied with hyssop, which is just common weeds that grows anywhere in Palestine, showing that the faith that the blood is to be applied by is not some super thing you have to have all kind of doctors degree to do it. Its just common, everyday faith, to believe God. See? Apply the blood, by faith, with the hyssop. When the Token is displayed to the believer, then It shows that its been accepted and the work has been done. The only way that you ever can have Life, there is only one form of Eternal Life, and thats Gods Own Life in you. To reject the Blood of Jesus Christ, the Token of His Blood, if you see It and reject It, you are going to face the Judgment with His Blood on your hands. Sinner, church member, remember that. See, there was a message just before the taking out of the church. There always has to be. Same now. Every spiritual happening is a sign from God. Do you believe that? [Congregation says, Amen.--Ed.] Like the Message, there is a sign and then the Message follows the sign. David said, Blessed is the man who God will not impute sin to. And God will never impute sin over that Token, because the Token is the paid sign that God has already received it. And you got the token for it, the pri-... your faith has bought it. And you have the purchase price of your redemption in your body, to worship Him and show forth His promises and power. A man thats got the baptism of the Holy Ghost, or a woman thats got the baptism of the Holy Ghost, has a right to everything that Jesus purchased for us, for thats the sign that we have. Thats the buying power. Now, if youve got the baptism of the Holy Ghost, that is the Token that you have every redemptive thing that Jesus died for, belongs to you, its in your hand. Are you afraid to claim it? Full obedience to the whole Word of God entitles you to the Token, and nothing else. Then, when we pray, we must have the Token to present with our prayers. Now dont fail to get that. When you pray, you must have the Token to hold over your prayer; if youre not, you pray until the Token comes, cause youre not promised to receive it. See, youve got to have this Token first; thats the paying price, your faith to believe it. If Satan tries to hand you some sickness, or tries to hand you something, you know what to do? Show him your Token. Sure, sickness strikes the Christian. Show him your Token, and prove to him that youre a purchased product of God. Resist the devil, and hell flee from you. Hold the Token over your unmovable faith in His promised Word.
