Jude Akagbusum STRATEGIC GOVERNANCE “Wild Passion, Evil Intention & Demeaning Our Presidential Paraphernalia” From the onset of the President Goodluck Jonathan`s Administration, some trends are so certain that those whose passion are so wild about leadership have sworn to create confusion, soak Nigerians in their own blood and they have proved their intentions and desires right, in collaboration with other people, whose various interests are now well known. As this wild passion continued unabated, as if they don’t mount the throne of our Presidential powers, heaven will let loose. In attempt to accomplish their desire they went ahead to commit various atrocities by waging what is better described as 2nd World War, “Genocide” against a particular section of our society, churches, businesses and homes. They did not stop at that, they gather themselves, openly begged and was received back into the largest political party in Africa. While the genocide was still going on outside, they were readmitted into the party without sense of remorse, and have come to complete their task of destruction. We are not unaware of their other various strategies that have summersaulted and failed them before they decided to demean our Presidential paraphernalia, a civilian coup de tat, in a democratic dispensation. Whoever supported this wild passion and inordinate ambition is indirectly wishing away peace from Nigeria. The catalogues of woe witnessed in Nigeria from independence to date were, not caused by President Goodluck Jonathan. All the past leaders from Gen Yakubu Gowon, Gen Obasanjo, Gen Buhari, Gen Babangida, Gen Abacha, Gen Abdulsalami, to Chief Obasanjo, did not improve our economy to the level commensurate to the resources generated with the figure of the population claimed in the various census excises held in this country. Despite all this, and after more than 35 years out of 50 years of the nation`s independence, they are still desperate to desecrate and ridicule our nation through their misbehaviors. Nigerians deserve to have good governance which democracy is guaranteed through the inherent architectures and philosophy and nobody will agree less to the fact that their unruly behavior and coup plotting to outwit our legitimate government is undemocratic and not in the good governance tenets as such, it is an act of sabotage tantamount to treasonable felony, by anybody accessory to its conspiracy. However, with this happening in Nigeria under the present government of President Goodluck Jonathan, one thing can be taken home as fact, that he is not bloodthirsty, will not be and does not want to play politics with bitterness. Therefore, for those who ruined this nation, and turning round to lead the President by the nose, is to say the least of the insults received my Nigerians. The inalienable right to a second term is undisputed and President Goodluck Jonathan, cannot be arm-twisted or threatened with impeachment or forced to resign. Good Governance does not support this kind of attitude, corruption, wild passion, evil intention and demeaning of our Presidential authority. It is undemocratic, uncivilized, a continuation of Southern marginalization, and destabilization of Nigeria among other atrocities. The Ambassadors for Good Governance of Nigeria is at this juncture in support the Government of President Dr Goodluck Jonathan, the Commander-in-Chief, of the Arm Forces of Federal republic of Nigeria.
